Balance and Stability Training

  So many aspects of sports, sports training, and simple daily activities require balance. High level athletic trainers understand this and elite athletes are put through a regiment that tests, improves, and maintains the body's ability to balance in various situations.     Balance     One of the best ways to prevent injuries is to break the game down into its many parts and train the body to handle loads that will be placed on it.  With balance training I strengthen the muscles that stabilize joints and protect the athlete from making awkward movements that could result in injuries that could have been avoided.  An athlete must learn to control his or her body to gain the most efficient performance possible and to become consistent when shooting, passing, dribbling, or any other aspect of the game.  If a person is simply working on overall fitness or preparing to begin resistance training, they MUST have some balance training to ensure they are safe when exercising.
